Mark S. Meder became interim president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland on July 1, 2024. Meder has served as the Cleveland Fed's first vice president since 2022. Under the terms of the Federal Reserve Act, the first vice president of the Bank serves as chief executive officer of the Bank during a vacancy in the office of the president.
