Federal Reserve History Authors

This page lists the authors who have been credited with writing content for Federal Reserve History. Most authors wrote their content as part of the original Federal Reserve centennial project, and some are no longer affiliated with Federal Reserve History and/or the Federal Reserve System. Today, the site is maintained by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis's Economic Research division. Several advisors provide oversight, including Federal Reserve Historian Jonathan Rose and economic historian David C. Wheelock (also a contributor to the original project) and others. Genevieve Podleski is responsible for day-to-day management of the site and its content.

Some essays or biography pages are credited to staff of one or more Federal Reserve Banks. In these cases, the information is usually general and from that Bank's (or the Board's) website or public information office. Users of this site may contact those institutions with any questions or requests for more information.

Each author's credentials and affiliation with the Federal Reserve are listed alphabetically. Where applicable, an author's name will link to an overview or biographical profile on a Federal Reserve webpage.
